Barathrum the Spirit Breaker is a lordly and powerful being, a fierce and elemental intelligence which chose to plane-shift into the world of matter to take part in events with repercussions in the elemental realm that is his home. To that end, he assembled a form that would serve him well, both in our world and out of it. His physical form borrows from the strengths of this world, blending features both bovine and simian-horns, hooves and hands-as outward emblems of his inner qualities of strength, speed and cunning. He wears a ring in his nose, as a reminder that he serves a hidden master, and that this world in which he works is but a shadow of the real one.
INTRODUCTION
Barathrum is eay hero for noobs. Noobs need to buy him Mom and then can become OWNING!! Easily. He use greater bash to knock down enemy easily. He also have a powerful ultimate that will knock-back his target to the direction he can’t escape.
His trademark is movement speed. He have all the movement speed to be good in game.
His movement speed also adds his damage.

1. Charge of Darkness
Spirit Breaker fixes his sight on an enemy unit and starts charging through all objects. All enemy units passed through will be hit by a Greater Bash, and the targeted unit is stunned upon impact. If the targeted unit dies, Spirit Breaker will change his target to the nearest enemy unit to that location.

This is your main skill to gank. You need this to gank a target, use Charge from anywhere from the map and chase your opponent like a boss with an ultra high movespeed. Stun them, and then attacks. Usually enemies will get surprised and the instantly stunned by you, and can't do anything.
2. Empowering Haste
Causes the Spirit Breaker to gain power with higher movement speed. His presence increases the movement speed of nearby allied units.

Increase Barathrum and allies movement speed in the radius. Very good skill, movement speed is the main thing for chasing and escaping. Needed in every situation in DotA. Your movement speed also increasing your Greater Bash damage.
3. Greater Bash
Gives a chance to stun and knockback an enemy unit on an attack, as well as gaining bonus movement speed after a bash occurs. Deals a percentage of movement speed as damage.

Knock back enemy and make him feel helpless. It will knock back enemy once in a while. And the bash also hava additional damage from your movement speed which is I believe the highest in DotA.
Very good skill to carrying. Will deal lots of damage to enemy.
4. Nether Strike
Spirit Breaker slips into the nether realm, reappearing next to his hapless victim. Upon reappearing, a Greater Bash of the current level occurs and deals bonus damage. Upgradable by Aghanim's Scepter.

Why take Charge of Darkness for level 1? You need this to try to get firstblood together with your friend. If you don't want to try to get firstblood, then take a Greater Bash instead, it will makes you easier to last hits.
Why maxed Charge of Darkness first? This way you will be a powerful ganker on early game with 2.4s stun and makes your team easier to kill the enemy.
Why maxed Greater Bash before Empowering Haste? Greater Bash is more useful for damaging the enmy. You need this to increase your damage and carrying ability.
STRATEGY
Early Game
On early game, you should have a decent damage to farm early creeps. Barathrum receives additional damage from if he do Greater Bash. And with an additional quelling blade, last hits is a piece of cake for you. Try to last hits every creeps using your high damage and + quelling blade.
Charge a target that you feel is easy. Tell your friend that you will target “X”. And together focus fire on x, kill him. Ask your partner to cooperate with you in your gank. Your partner should come after you successfully stun your target and helps you kill the enemy.
Mid Game
On mid game, MoM is your target. Try to save 2000 gold for this item. This item will benefit you by a lot. You will gain more attack speed and lifeteal and makes you a decent carry. You also gain an additional movement speed that means adds damage more for carrying. Your killing method is very simple, first: use Charge of Darkness, and then after you hit your target, use your ultimate and Mom, and right click until the target dies.
Late Game
If you succeeded on mid game, late game will be easier for you. You are considered a carry, so you should buy DPS items such as Daedlus, Mkb etc. Although you are an STR hero, you are strong, you have a Greater Bash that will knock back enemy and make you a powerful carry.
Charge of the Darkness should be done before the teamfigh starts. Once you arrive at the enemy, your friend should come after you and participate in the teamfight. Use you normal attack, and then use your ultimate and kill your target. Focus on one enemy, after he death, change to other enemy.
Bkb is a nice option for Barathrum, as a carry you need survivability.
